OUR STORY

Picture
EthnosDC's Story really started a few years ago.  Before we can talk about EthnosDC, we must first start with Nations Worship Ministries. It was during the Olagunju's years in Campus ministry and while serving at their church in Los-Angeles, that God began to plant the dream for Nations Worship Ministries in their hearts. So, in 2008 the Lord led them to establish Nations Worship Ministries.  Nations Worship Ministries  was established to be a missions based ministry. The focus of this ministry from day one was always about missions outreach(reaching the lost) and inreach(raising up the lost and saved).

In 2010 the Lord led the Olagunju's to Washington DC  to expand their ministry on the east coast. After a season of fasting and prayer the Lord made it plain to them, that Washington DC was a unique region to operate a spirit-filled mission-based ministry. During the 1st six months of the Olagunju's stay in the DC area, the Lord connected them with many churches and ministries in the region. As they continued to minister in the region, the Lord started to impress on them to activate the inreach aspect of Nations Worship Ministries. As they looked all over the DC area, the Lord showed them the unique diversity in the region. They saw that DC was one of the most diverse places in the World. Many come into Washington DC Metro Area because it is the Capital of the "free world". There is such a beautiful mosaic of cultures that the Lord has woven into this region. So, the Lord commissioned the Olagunju's to take a step of faith to harvest the souls that have come from the Nations into Washington DC metro. The Lord also made it clear to Olagunju's that these people who are on the fringes and disenfranchised by devil's activities. Out of this unique call to the disenfranchised, EthnosDC was birth in 2012.  Now the Lord is now raising up a community of people from the Nations that will go into the missions field of the whole earth.
